Friday rolls around and we’re itching for the weekend. First though you have to make it through the day and you’ll need a spot of inspiration to do that.
Inspiration Friday #9 is from a chap called Ji Lee (now Creative Director of Google Creative Lab) and is a talk he did for the 99U people about his bubble project. It’s a humorous motivational piece (and pretty short too so it’s not going to take up your day).
Here’s my brief notes from Ji:
Frustrated with life at agency and the double-speak / no-action mentality of corporate culture, Ji decided to brighten up his world with a personal project. His motto – Don’t depend on others to make things happen. Do it yourself.
What personal projects taught him:
Personal and professional projects compliment (sic) each other.
Creating platforms is powerful.
Time is a concept which can be stretched.
Sharing is rewarding.
