Latest work here at Awemous Towers is this enormously awesome site for Simple Pleasures Sewing School.
Really pleased with how this site turned out – nice and simple but with lots of functionality for future expansion. Working with designer Sam Osborne, the site was produced in WordPress allowing local crafts person Emma May to turn her passion into a business.
Emma runs classes for those interested in learning how to sew, from beginners to advanced lessons, so an event calendar was required to allow people to book classes at different locations. We chose the excellent Events Manager Pro plugin to allow Emma to manage those bookings and her customers to pay online in advance of the class. Emma now knows how many people will attend, doesn’t have to worry about the administration of payments, and can add new events, classes, and locations as she wishes.
